AI Overview to PDF privacy policy

AI Overview to PDF turns the answer you choose into a file inside your browser. The answer is never sent to us or to anyone else.

Data kept in your browser

  • The answer you chose to export, while its PDF page is open. It is removed when you close the browser.
  • Whether you have already exported an answer, so the extension knows when to ask for a rating.
  • Fonts downloaded for Chinese, Japanese or Korean answers, so they are not downloaded again.

It stays on your device and is removed when you uninstall the extension.

Data sent to our server

  • When an answer is in Chinese, Japanese or Korean, the extension downloads a font for that language once from a public font server, so the PDF can show those characters. Nothing about the answer is sent with that request.

Services that process data for us

  • A public content delivery network serves the font files mentioned above.

What we never do

  • Sell or rent your data, or share it for advertising.
  • Use it for anything other than the extension's single purpose described above.
  • Use it to decide creditworthiness or for lending.
  • Track your browsing history or activity on other sites.

The use of information received by the extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Feedback and uninstall surveys

If you choose to fill in our feedback form or the survey that opens after you uninstall, your answers are collected with Google Forms. They contain only what you type, and we use them only to improve the extension. Google's privacy policy applies to Google Forms.

Adds the PDF button to Google search pages that were already open when you installed the extension.

Builds the PDF file inside your browser.
Access to Google search pages
Shows the PDF button on AI Overviews and AI Mode answers and reads the answer you choose to export.
Access to Google Docs documents
Shows a one-time "Press Ctrl+V to paste" hint in the new document you open from the extension. It reads nothing from your documents.

Children

The extension is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

When this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
